1. Installation Guidelines:

• Inspect Shaft & Housing Bore: Thoroughly clean shaft journals and housing bores before installation. Ensure shaft surfaces are free of scoring, rust, burrs, or groove wear caused by old seals.
• Pre-Lubricate Sealing Lip: Lightly coat the elastomeric seal lip and shaft journal with clean engine or transmission oil prior to fitting. Never press seals onto dry metal surfaces.
• Square Press-Fit: Press the seal squarely into its bore using a dedicated seal driver tool. Apply force strictly to the outer metal/rubber casing—never press directly against the inner flexible sealing lip or garter spring.
• Avoid Spring Displacement: Ensure the internal stainless steel garter spring stays seated in its retention groove during installation to maintain uniform radial lip compression.

2. Failure Symptoms & Replacement Schedule:

• Symptoms of Worn Oil Seals: Visible oil drips beneath crankshaft pulleys or flywheel housings, blue exhaust smoke (degraded valve stem seals), clutch slippage due to rear main seal oil contamination, or oil-fouled brake assemblies near wheel hubs.

3. Non-Repairability:
